This non-profit organization supports one of the largest food/health industries in New England. They are seeking an Accounting & HR Specialist to focus mainly on accounting duties (80%) and support local HR duties (20%) when needed. Primarily this role will be the point person with the national office on accounting related work (AP; AR; preparation of annual budget, etc.); process vendor/customer invoices; maintain accounting files (including state contracts); prepare annual operating budget; file annual compliance reports; and provide support to the regional staff. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping; be familiar with basic accounting procedures; strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat; be detail oriented and experienced with accounting general ledger systems preferred.
