Human Resource Coordinator – New York City – $50K – $55K

Summary

Our client is a cutting-edge marketing company with offices throughout the country.  Their New York office is looking for a Human Resource Coordinator to assist with HR processes at all business locations.  This role will provide administrative support to the HR Managers and Partner as well as help with recruiting, HRIS maintenance and compliance.  They will consider a strong Administrative Assistant who is interested in pursuing a career in HR

Responsibilities

  • Complete form I-9, submit through E-verify and maintain employee files
  • Submit requests for background checks
  • Manage internal audits
  • Update & maintain HRIS with new hires, terminations, position & comp adjustments
  • Launch on-boarding and off-boarding
  • Assist with full cycle recruiting process including
    • Create & post new job descriptions
    • Schedule interviews
    • Gather interview feedback
    • Light pre-screening
    • Manage ATS as needed
  • Create offer letters
  • Field employment verification requests

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Understanding of HR procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation

  • Annual Salary:  $50,000 – $55,000
