Tax Accountant
Boston’s most prestigious wealth management firm is seeking a Tax Accountant to be responsible for preparing a range of tax returns for individual and fiduciary clients while collaborating closely with investment officers to deliver thoughtful guidance and proactive tax planning strategies.
This hybrid role requires the accurate and timely preparation of individual and fiduciary income tax returns, tax information letters, and quarterly estimated tax payments for an assigned group of individuals and trusts. You will also develop strong proficiency with both internal and external tax production systems (Onesource Trust Tax, CCH Axcess, and FIS Global Plus), and maintain an efficient workflow that can adapt to evolving processes and requirements. The Tax Accountant will serve as a resource across the organization by offering expertise and clear communication to colleagues and clients.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree, with a CPA or EA designation strongly preferred, five plus years of tax preparation experience within a high-net-worth client environment is required, along with a deep understanding of tax law, compliance standards, and tax preparation software. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
