Trust Officer

A leading Wealth Management Firm in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Trust Officer (5+ years) to join its respected and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a firm known for its expertise, integrity, and commitment to client service.

The Trust Officer will manage all aspects of trust and estate administration—advising on complex trust, estate, and tax matters; reviewing and approving transactions; coordinating with custodians, attorneys, and accountants; and ensuring smooth estate settlements.

Candidates must hold a CTFA certification (an advanced degree in law, tax, or a related field is preferred) and have prior experience with a wealth management firm, trust company, or law firm. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret estate planning documents and fiduciary tax returns are essential.
