Restaurant Kitchen Prep Cook – Up to $18 per Hour

Summary:  Our client is an established and highly successful Boston restaurant/tap room group with an opportunity for a prep cook.  The Prep Cook role will focus on efficient, timely, and orderly work in the kitchen while collaborating with the kitchen and tap room teams.  Great opportunity to build your culinary career!  Job Code: 16707  

Prep Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food offerings while practicing safe kitchen practices
  • Follows recipes to provide consistent and quality offerings
  • Adheres to kitchen cleaning checklist
  • Organizes food and supply orders
  • May train/supervise new kitchen staff as needed

Prep Cook Skills/Qualifications:

  • Maintains active Serve Safe Certification
  • Must have High School Diploma or GED (college or culinary arts degrees preferred)
  • 2+ years of culinary/kitchen experience
  • Working knowledge of executing recipes
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
