Account Manager
Global packaging manufacturer seeking an Account Manager to grow U.S. retail accounts, with a focus on grocery and supermarket customers. This role involves long, competitive, cost-driven sales cycles where persistence, confidence, and strong negotiation skills are critical.
The Account Manager will focus on managing and growing key accounts, meeting sales targets and KPIs, engaging and presenting to senior procurement teams, and coordinating closely with U.S. support teams and manufacturing.
Ideal candidates have three plus years’ of B-2-B experience selling to retailers (grocery strongly preferred), a successful track record of growing territory and sales, bring a charismatic and competitive sales style, and are comfortable winning business where decisions come down to small pricing differences. Packaging experience is not required; extensive product and sustainability training is provided.
Hybrid role based in the greater Boston area. Full-time in office during training, then one day per week. Base salary approximately $90K–$120K plus commission, company car or allowance, and strong benefits. This is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding a growing U.S. retail sales operation.
