Business Development Manager
Our client, a multiple recipient of The American Lawyer’s Best Law Firm of the Year award over the past five years, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support revenue-generating initiatives within its emerging companies and venture capital practice.
This can be based in the firm’s Palo Alto or San Francisco office, and is designed for a senior professional with eight or more years of experience who can build and maintain relationships with early-stage startups, technology industry groups, and seed investors while strengthening the firm’s market presence across the Bay Area and other major offices. The Manager will also provide market insights and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, with a focus on maximizing return on investment for sponsorships and events, enhancing digital presence, and promoting marketing content.
Qualifications include at least three years of experience in a venture capital or startup environment, a strong understanding of startup culture, the ability to support complex business development initiatives, knowledge of transactional practices such as M&A and private equity, and proficiency with CRM and pipeline management tools including Salesforce.
