Practice Manager, IP Litigation

A leading law firm with offices across North America is seeking a Practice Manager to support its Intellectual Property Litigation Section. This hybrid role may be based in Washington, DC, Boston, or New York.

The Practice Manager will partner closely with firm leadership to drive the strategic and operational management of the IP/Litigation practice. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing best-in-class operational processes, overseeing budgets, coordinating section meetings and events, and supporting attorney performance management and professional development initiatives. This role will also manage associate and paralegal staffing, support recruiting and onboarding efforts, contribute to AI and innovation initiatives, and deliver data-driven insights and business intelligence to leadership.

Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience within a large law firm in practice management, professional development, or human resources. Strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of law firm economics, and the ability to analyze and present complex data are essential.
